The activities of the Development Bureau cover several areas. Its staff organise and deliver training courses, implement projects funded by national and EU funds, and perform training quality assurance tasks.
The Development Bureau implements the GINOP-6.1.9-18-2018-00001 priority project “Establishment of a Transport Training and Examination Centre“, in which the KTI Institute for Transport Sciences Non-profit Ltd. participates as consortium leader and the National Institute for Vocational and Adult Education as consortium partner. The aim of the priority project is to establish a training and examination centre in the transport sector that will support the sector’s training needs by providing simulation and other modern training tools and by creating the infrastructural background, thus creating opportunities for short-term vocational training and competence and skills development training required by the labour market. More information on the priority project is available at https://www.kti.hu/projektek/kiemelt-hazai-projektek/ginop-6-1-9-18-2018-00001/
Development Bureau implements the project “Sectoral training centres, smart structures and training site alternatives” under the reference number GINOP–6.2.6–20–2020–00001, of which the consortium leader is IKK Innovative Training Support Center Private Limited Company, and KTI Institute for Transport Sciences Non-profit Ltd. is a member of the consortium. The priority project will include a human and physical infrastructure assessment of the vocational training centres and a full building energy and architectural audit of the institutional system. Smart meters will be installed in two vocational training centres on a pilot basis, and the project will also provide technical support to the vocational training centres to apply for the GINOP-6.2.7-20 call for proposals “Infrastructural and professional preparation of sectoral training centres for the new vocational training structure” and to implement the improvements. KTI is responsible for the development of a validation methodology for measurement and evaluation and the implementation of measurements in the Sopron and Szerencs Vocational Training Centres, as well as the organisation of a “Model Enterprise Simulation Competition” (also PILOT) for students in vocational training institutions in the convergence region.
